Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What happens during the first visit? The first visit begins with an initial consultation and cognitive profiling session. Over approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, you will complete a personalized battery of assessments to identify your current state and goals, after which a tailored training plan is designed together. Regular training sessions follow from there.

Q. How many sessions are needed? It depends on individual goals and initial assessment results, but a minimum of 20–40 sessions is generally recommended. Changes in brain and autonomic nervous system function occur gradually through repeated training, and progress is monitored through periodic assessments.

Q. When do the effects become noticeable? Individual results vary, but many people begin to notice improvements in focus, sleep quality, and emotional regulation around sessions 10–15. Brain training works like muscle training — consistent repetition is key.

Q. Can children participate? Yes, absolutely. Training is available for children aged 5 and above, with protocols adapted to each child’s age and developmental level. A parent or guardian consultation and initial assessment are conducted before training begins to confirm suitability.

Q. Can adults participate? Yes, adults are welcome. We offer personalized training for a wide range of adult concerns, including burnout, sleep difficulties, social anxiety, reduced concentration, and stress regulation.

Q. Can training be combined with medication? Yes, it can. Neurofeedback and cognitive training are non-invasive and are not intended to replace medication, but rather to complement it. We recommend consulting with your physician before beginning training.

Q. Are there any side effects? Neurofeedback, biofeedback, and cognitive training are non-invasive and drug-free, making them generally safe. A small number of individuals may experience temporary fatigue or mild headache during the first few sessions, which typically resolves within 1–2 days. tVNS uses very low current levels and is virtually painless. Please inform us in advance if you have epilepsy, a cardiac pacemaker, or any other specific medical condition.
